I am available for commissions! 

Whether you would like to gain an artistic representation or memorialize a beloved pet, there are a variety of options available. You will notice that the pricing will be different based on size, number of subjects, and materials used. At this time, I am offering line and wash, watercolor (no drawn lines), and soft pastel. 

How It Works

Reach out to me and let me know what type of project you had in mind. I prefer to work with half of the commission paid up front as a deposit. When I have completed your piece to your satisfaction--usually this will take no more than one or two weeks, unless otherwise stated--I will ship your portrait to you upon receipt of the remainder of the commission. As I am working on the piece, I will remain in contact with you, sending you photos or posting them on Instagram. I will check in with you often to make sure that it is turning out the way that you like. 

All pastel paintings will be shipped mounted to an acid free board, matted, and securely wrapped with glassine inside a plastic art bag to protect the delicate surface. I work in standard sizes, unless a customer specifies otherwise, to make framing easier for you. Note that due to the delicate nature of pastel, some dust will occur. This is totally normal. I do not use fixative sprays, since they alter the colors of the paintings--sometimes drastically. However, if anything is damaged in shipping, please reach out to me. 

Watercolor and line and watercolor wash paintings are treated similarly. Each painting is secured to an acid free mat, and secured inside a plastic art bag. I do not mount watercolor paintings to a board, because the paper is stiff, and I want to enable you and your framer to have options. Watercolor is unique in that it is not always framed in a traditional way.
